"Momentum" is a Hip Hop and Acrobatics orientated studio with a focus on fun.
With an inclusive family friendly environment, we offer classes for everyone and anyone!
With locations in the NORTH (11 Arcade Rd, Mont Albert) and SOUTH (567 Glenhuntly Rd, Elsternwick) we can service suburbs such: Surrey Hills, Burwood, Balwyn, Kew, Camberwell, Box Hill, Caulfield, Brighton, Elsternwick, Elwood, St Kilda, and many more!!!

We offer a competitive stream for those looking at taking their training to the next level,
and provide recreational classes for students after some basic dance training - with no wild uniform fees, no enforced class packages, just dance & acrobatics!
We provide lessons for 4+ yrs to adults! Skill level is not an issue with multiple class options!
Momentum is a place for those interested in refining skills or seeking an alternative form of exercise. Our classes are designed to progressively develop style and technique in a positive,
fun-filled environment.
Having worked as a Hip Hop and Commercial dance & Acrobatics instructor for over 10 years Jack has seen the positive benefits of movement based exercise amongst children, teenagers and adults.
The studio is a perfect place to continually develop coordination, self-confidence, and body awareness.

SchooL INCURSION PROGRAM
Momentum offers a number of incursion programs to both the Primary and High school level.
We are able to integrate our classes into a school curriculum, supplement the PE/Performing Arts programs, create whole school concert/performance material, or entertain OSCH clubs students.
IN THE PAST WE HAVE:
- Helped develop the expanding dance program at St Michael's Grammar (since 2018).
- Organised the Yr 9 Dance Unit for Genazzano FCJ for 5 years running.
- Facilitated a full scale production for Essex Heights Primary
- Run workshops during lunch hours at St James Primary.

Momentum is a family friendly studio for prep, primary, high school and adult age students. We accept students from all over Melbourne. Brighton, Elsternwick, Bayside, Gardenvale, Ripponlea, Elwood, Caulfield, Carnegie, Morrabbin, Bentleigh, Hampton, St Kilda, Glen Huntly, Ormond, Box Hill, North Balwyn, Balwyn, Burwood, Nunawading, Surrey Hills, Camberwell, Vermont, Ashwood, Camberwell, Deepdene, Doncaster, Mont Albert. We offer a free trial lesson to all new students. So sign up today! We offer a large variety of Dance styles, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics/Gymnastics. We run classes out of Healthways Recreation Centre and Elsternwick Primary school Hall. We offer competition classes for those students looking to perform. Our classes are 1 hour long and families with more than one enrolment receive discounts. The studio does not have a strict uniform, we are a recreational casual school. At Momentum Arts Studios we run acrobatics and dance classes for primary to high school aged students. We are an inclusive studio that has a focus on fun. Our students work and train hard but enjoy coming casually or train with us 3-4 times per week. Right near boroondara sports centre we often have students relocate to us as they find our inviting energy easier and more pleasant to work with. Our gymnastics/acrobatics program allows students to progressively develop their strength flexibility and control with a goal to have them comfortably doing aerial's, backflip's, cartwheel's round-off's and many more impressive tricks. We have a huge array of equipment and our trainers have all had several years experience teaching. Our class sizes are small enough for students to get the attention they need, we also offer private lessons for anyone with a more specific goal in mind.
